South Stars Academy is a preparatory school that enrols from age 3-11. we are a non-denominational, multicultural, independent and co-educational institution. We are a private not-for-profit school that is governed by the Jamaica Independent School Association in Jamaica.

The school was founded in 2012 as a Performing Art and literacy school but later developed into a full-time preparatory school in 2016 due to its success, need and demand of the community.

We at South Start Academy go the extra mile in identifying the areas of deficiency of our students and work with them through an intervention program where we help to build their literacy, numeracy among other subject area levels while promoting our Motto: ‘We do not aim to be ordinary, good enough is not enough, brilliance is the target’. and we are all on the same page to ensure that excellent standards are maintained.
